Ever had trouble deciding where to put the room stat?

We have this problem all the time. If you put it in the hall it tends to heat up straight away and never call fr heat again.

If you put it in the lounge they go and put a fire on and the rest of the house gets cold.

Even using a radio stat doesn't help because City and Guilds 6084 shows that approved document part L of the Building Regs demands that it must be "docked".

Which got me thinking.......................
