Next I wiped the phone so 'efficiently' that I lost my phone contacts too.

Then set the OnePlus Nord afresh installing only Ride with. It works! But do I trust it? Time and rides will tell. Samsung in one pocket, Nord intother....
What about trying ‘Strava’ as an alternative?
If you just want simple Strava will probably do too much but it will record rides for free, though nowadays I'm a subscriber so its a while since I used the free version.

Yes I thought of that too, surprisingly, but the list of other activities to choose from is generous.

The instruction when I had my first jab last evening was to take it steady with exercising - I've been feeling fine all day, no apparent reaction at all so I thought I would do a shorter, easier ride after work and that certainly felt different, I felt tired after just a few miles and had no 'zip'. I kept the distance shorter (14miles) and throttled back for most of the ride. I'm feeling drained now. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts. An early night for me I think.

It may not be the jab, or not a physiological reaction anyway. You'll be fine! trust me, only me, trust in me......

Both the S8+ and oneplus nord are working fine and Ride with GPS works fine on both.... trust, hmmmmmmm. More tests but I thought I was really in trouble this morning when the S8+ ceased to work as a phone.

I tried everything including spending over an hour waiting on the landline - horrible, really squawking horrible music aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh only to finally get a connection person telling me that the virgin network was down. I started laughing, couldn't help it.

It's OK Andrew, I'm not at all concerned, just reporting back my experience.

I can't prove it but circumstantially it looks to be related to the jab.

Glad you're getting better results with RidewithGPS now.

I thought I'd spare a thought for the bicycle brothers...with a little ditty that came to mind while reacquainting myself with the studio kit...

Well, that meant listening to both for full length,( ) but yes, only the first two verses.

To me, the vocals were a bit quiet, but what do I know.

Cheers Ed. you made me smile but I'm with the previous sentiments about the vocals being lost down in the mix, though better on the .wav version.

'tis done....mix now has vocals up 3db in the mix

ironically the first mix had the vocals up but when I played it on the desktop pc the vocal was over present so I took it down a bit.
I must make a note not to play stuff that I'm levelling on the pc system.

I'm ever grateful for the feedback, thanks.

Much better balance Ed.

Now, if you could change 'lala land' to 'lava land' you would include a reference to Zwift riding...

Did another ride today, Scobswell hadn't seen the Thames for yonks so we just went out for a 12 mile local cruise in very nippy conditions.

Photo opportunity, 2 magnificent structures.... Scobswell and the Dirtfud Bridge. (Not my beverage choice BTW).
