Well that was lucky, the day after i mentioned it, an original arcam delta remote popped up on ebay. paid a reasonable fee for it at 22 quid, but i dont mind given that ive been looking since i got the machine and i haven't seen another one anywhere.
Probably wont even use it, but its now complete, along with its original transit screws.
Makes me happy
I am a sad git

Same as lucking into getting the original reels for the r2r machine. I found out that the metal 'telephone dial' reel i got with the set of tapes i bought was an extra, and that it originally would have had a type 7 plastic take up reel that was the same as the one used for sony pr150 tape that you were supposed to use with it. Has a bias switch for normal tape and high output tape which is set for pr150.
So i bought one of those reels for 3 quid too.

Someone then put a load of telephone dial reels on ebay at between 60 and 100 quid

There is a John Tickle TLS hub on Ebay, @ £465 + post from Denmark.

I'd seen that one Phil, that's not s bad price compared to the prices in the usa
In the box of spares I got with the bike, there is some john tickle stuff, nothing of real value, but the JT clip ons polished up well, so I've used them.
Hope fully I'll get a few hours on it this weekend
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Something to be aware of when ordering from Farnell if you're time critical. I always esure what I'm ordering is "in stock" without delivery surcharges. An order I placed weeks ago is still dribbling in. Usually their orders are shipped from all over the place and large orders can be delivered in a few packages so I'm guessing Brexit is causing hold ups in getting shipments in from the EU.

I placed an order with Farnell this morning - around a dozen line items all showing as 'in stock' - so far I've had one notification of a back order and half a dozen 'your order has shipped' notifications!
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

My green bin (garden waste) is due to have it's first empty of 2021 on 1st March, so I need to cut back my Buddleia and fill the bin up.

After that I can start pruning the apple tree. :)

£10 to download so I'm saving up. I will but the piggy bank has only just over £3-2/6d in it.

You guys buy, watch, write serious crit discuss which will help speed my savings on the way to Zappa Foundation inc.

You are lucky.

All I've got is a silver thruppeny bit, four halfpennys and 3 farthings.
