good god, even i (with my penchant for turntable related stupidity) wouldnt go for that thing! restore it? you'd need an arc welder and oxy acetylene torch before you started!

I'm sure it was cutting edge in 1920 something, but I was struck by the fact that it seems to be screwed to the floor on its pedestal thing. What happens then if you then go clumping across the floorboards in your fashionable 1920's clogs? :lol:

OTOH the tracking weight may be appropriately "robust" in proportion
