Does anyone know how the bias weight cord attaches to the arm ?
There is a small chrome bit where i think it was attached but the cord has come off and i'm not certain how it was fixed.
ps the owners manual says nothing about this matter !

I now find the small chromed "pin" that secures the thread pulls out (well mine does !) and looking through my magnifying glass can see a small hole through which the thread passes.
Seems the thread is glued in ?
Must obtain a tiny drill and see if the old glued thread remains can be removed. My eyes are not up to these "minuscule" details, and even with 3 arms (one to hold the magnifying glass) will be very fiddly.
My SME 3009 is looking very suitable.
