I did really like your 301 paul, it does a certain something, with the audiomods arm on it in that plinth i made, it sounded really well.
Ive had so many dds over the years and they do something else.

I havent got any music at the moment, have all that kit and nowhere to put it...its doing my head ...

Your sl1800 is a mk1 paul so it cant be adjusted for height, you would have to change the platter mat for ones of different thicknesses to adjust it. Very similar to the mk1 sl150 i have

I see no hurry to mount an mc cart of which I have a spu and a similar ofher ortophon I just cant recall the name of but its spu esque.

Well we have finally moved, still got some stuff to sort out with the old place, but the end is in sight. Upshot is, the fanes will have to go. And probably the f5 and b1, they dont have the gain for the missions. Which are about as big as i can go. Bit of a shame, but it is what it is.

They simply wont fit in the new place, they are just too large physically
I was going to pull the drivers out of the cabs and sell them, the cabs will get skipped.

Should be in th new place by the end of today. Finally.
Still loads of stuff to shift out of the old place, but everything we need to actually live in the new one is now there.

Ho hum. The fanes definitly wont fit in the new place, i will have to remove the drivers and bin the cabs with a little bit of a tear in the eye... will have to start again

Ta folks, i wont count my chickens until ive got the keys in my grubby mitts given the amount of issues we have had. I am looking forward to converting the cellar into a proper workshop though

Finally got contracts exchanged on the new gaff.
That has to have been the most teeth knashingly, excruciatingly frustrating thing we have ever embarked on. And its been, relatively speaking, a fairly short process at just under 6 months.

Our bit was completed last year, the rest has been down to ...

Could use a trammel and a diamond burr in a router, need lots of dust extraction, masks, have to make a plug with a centre pop for the driver hole
