Re: Simple Active Low Pass Filter/Buffer

Thanks Nick, I think I have that covered, the full-range preamp/MoFo will have about 20dB of gain and the Chip amp for the bass has 29dB.

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Much better balance Ed.

Now, if you could change 'lala land' to 'lava land' you would include a reference to Zwift riding...

Re: Simple Low Pass Filter/Buffer

The "gotcha" is building a perfectly neutral sounding multi stage buffer. That can be many things depending on what comes before and afterwards. If it needs to drive long cables to the power amp, you will need low impedance. If the power amplifiers are close to the preamp/crossover, it is...

Simple Active Low Pass Filter/Buffer

I'm looking for some advice/steer on an active Low-pass filter for my Open Baffle project. Crossover of bass to full range unit will be circa 150-180Hz. I've covered some of this in the SLOB thread but, just as a reminder, I'm hoping to run the full range unit essentially without a separate crossove...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Cheers Ed. you made me smile but I'm with the previous sentiments about the vocals being lost down in the mix, though better on the .wav version.

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

It may not be the jab, or not a physiological reaction anyway. You'll be fine! trust me, only me, trust in me...... It's OK Andrew, I'm not at all concerned, just reporting back my experience. I can't prove it but circumstantially it looks to be related to the jab. Glad you're getting better result...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

The instruction when I had my first jab last evening was to take it steady with exercising - I've been feeling fine all day, no apparent reaction at all so I thought I would do a shorter, easier ride after work and that certainly felt different, I felt tired after just a few miles and had no 'zip'. ...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

I uninstalled ride with gps, shut the phone down, booted up and and re-installed it. Not a ha'ppeth difference. Next I wiped the phone so 'efficiently' that I lost my phone contacts too. Then set the OnePlus Nord afresh installing only Ride with. It works! But do I trust it? Time and rides will tel...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

I wasn't suggesting you buy one, just pointing out that bike computers have moved on from the little things we used to have.

Looks like you'll have to get RidewithGPS working to your satisfaction.

Re: 300B Headphone Amp

...was wondering how you got to the two different output impedances (32/600ohms) with the MP circuit. Do you use output transformers? No transformers or other trickery, the Masterpiece can drive the 32ohm and 600 ohm headphones perfectly well, all I have done is installed two output jacks with diff...
