In 1991 my GT was killed and me almost. Girl overtook a row of cars it happened in a flash time didn’t go slow for me, I was coming the other way. Speed of impact 60 I admitted to probably more. Bike a cube for the scrap yard embedded up to Golf bulk head. Me launches, my unconscious on immediate first second no warning no time to evade. Loudest bang of my life then came round writhing in pain flat on back in road broken ribs crackling as I erythema in agony broken wrists right shear right shoulder. Hamapneuma thorax rest of my life misshaped right shoulder right chest right thigh right hip, hurting me more than ever nowadays, but hay ho, never take pain killers, use pma.

Yearn for an old bike now but probably never happen.

Took pains explaining the clutch and gearbox issues Vincent had and how he was rebuilding one of them with great precision and care in his ‘90’s. What a life event.
I hope not forgetting to apply liberal quantities of Osotite to the shaft splines! Like a Velo, they could be tricky to set correctly but when the servo arrangement was in order, a lovely clutch if you could keep the oil out.

Both. (I suspect. If is like my Piaggio X10.)
Have you room in the shed for 4 solo motorcycles, or perhaps the Guzzi will live in the conservatory ?
No, and no.

Any more questions?

I followed you from where the commentary started. I hope the meal was worth a 2 hour ride. :)

I've been to Wicken Fen a couple of times, it's a bit nearer to me, about 1.25 hours.

I must get the BMW out for spring next year, I've not ridden it since before the pandemic started.

It's a pity that all the Audio Talk bikers live too far apart for a mass meet up one sunny day. :(

I'm sure we could find some central-ish spot to all meet.

I'd be up for it once I've rebuilt the Redditch Bullet. The 61 year old big end bearing let go 40 plus miles from home. Still got me back though.

Meh!

That's the winter shed project sorted then.

I don't mind replacing your transfer box on your 'landie'. I'll replace with with an empty box of Tofu.

See what happens when you're not specific :)

...in which case your big end can be replaced by a pint of jellied eels...

...it'd be about as functional... Maybe better...
