It was 3 chokes same value in series in one can so they must be low H's they are wire so the 1st choke is connected to ground with a cap. I lost the UTC catalogue and all I had due to comp. death. Hallelujah.....this reminds me of a tapped choke resonant filter Turman p499 or UTC's humbucking chokes... The UTC is almost the same 3 equal chokes in series.. cap to ground at the beggining of the first choke...rectifier input goes to the junction of 1 and 2..cap to ground at the output end of 3. ...

A couple of weeks ago my lad (43) had his pal round who is on a sound recording degree course in Lundon...dad put yer stereo on for Mark.. well after a couple of tracks of SRV we had to scrape him off the floor and brew some sweet tea.
This rekindled my interest..true story :wink:
