For those who have not yet heard the sad news, Jean-Michel Le Cléac'h passed away yesterday. He has contributed very generously to the audio community for a great many years, and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Oh, this is a shock, and very sad news indeed, Gary . Thanks for informing us . Was it sudden, or were you aware he had been ill ?
It's definitely a major blow to the audio community, and the horn world in particular . Apart from being very intelligent, he was also a absolute gentleman both on the forums and in real life.

I split this from the speaker thread, while he was certainly very relevant to the topic on hand, I thought better in news.
I never had any direct interaction with him, but I knew him through his work. Will be missed.

Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.
