Just ran across this site on the interweb.
I haven't bought anything off them but they look like a good place to go for transformer/choke covers etc.
They are based in Germany.

No mention of what there made of though, i presume some kind of pot metal alloy?

I've just come across this thread. I am the guy who produces those transformer covers. First of all, thank you very much for the kind words.
The covers are made of 4-5 mm aluminium and have 4 threaded holes on the bottom. This is by far the most cost-effective production method for small quantities.
