#1 DVD Audio Extractor

Post by andrew Ivimey »

Does this have to cost money?

If so, what's the idiot proof and easy to use model?

Where do I get this from, please?

You can extract audio from DVD-Video with this.

http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html

Dunno if it will do audio from DVD-A.

phew! I barely understand every third word let alone what to do!

I'm very simple about some things; I wish I weren't but don't seem to have the time to do everything.

Yeah, but you're trying to do everything. In the world, ever.

If you play it on the computer presumably the sound goes out on the sound card (duh) so if you've got a sound recording application thingy AND a stereo mix or whatever it's called for the sound playback, where you can record the sound same time as it's playing.

This is on 30 trial http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/ and is fully functional. This works on standard DVD-V discs.

I have had issues on just 1 DVD with it - Eric Clapton's One More Car One More Rider.

If you want to extract audio from DVD-Audio (not your normal DVD disc) then you look out for dvdaexplorer.

Chris :)
