Grand Funk Railroad - early stuff. Almost as bad as Blue Cheer. But it does blow out the tubes!

Laters.... Grand Funk Railroad seem to do the trio in its most simplistic sense - it works... but at the other end of the spectrum is Jimi - hard work! But he did all that seemingly effortlessly - from my perspective it was genius . Blue Cheer, I got there too late.

Went to see an orchestra tonight at Huddersfield Town Hall.
Symphonie Fantastique, including Ravel's Rapsodie espagnole. Also, catch previous Leeds International Piano Competition winner, Artur Pizarro, as he performs Saint-Saëns' ever-popular Piano Concerto No. 2 with the world-class Orchestra of Opera North, under the baton of Julia Jones
Bloody brilliant - 2 and a bit hours of pure class.
