Doctor on the radio this evening stated that everyone will ge the virus at some point...if not in the first phase maybe later but at some point we will all get it. By the time a vaccine is proved safe to distribute it could well have disappeared or mutated into a new strain.

Anyone read this?

Extract - This is one of the most important charts.
It shows in orange bars the daily official number of cases in the Hubei province: How many people were diagnosed that day.
The grey bars show the true daily coronavirus cases. The Chinese CDC found these by asking patients during the diagnostic when their symptoms started.
Crucially, these true cases weren’t known at the time. We can only figure them out looking backwards: The authorities don’t know that somebody just started having symptoms. They know when somebody goes to the doctor and gets diagnosed.
What this means is that the orange bars show you what authorities knew, and the grey ones what was really happening.

I just skimmed it, but I don't see anything that I doubt ICL is using in their model.

With the problem of keeping items like keys, mobile phone, specs free of virus I was wondering how effective a UV-C light box may be.
I know they use UV emitters in those noisy air jet dryers. Let's hope people are washing their hands properly - remember the stories a few years back when they were introduced.
Just searched on Amazon for UV disinfection boxes and there is a selection though I'm unsure how one could check their effectiveness. Perhaps a diy one would be the best choice.

Anyone worrying about keeping their pants sterile?

I have a old EEPROM eraser that would probably do. I would worry about making one that effectively had no interlocks though.

5 minutes in the microwave should do the job :-)

Wow. Apparently my YouTube channel now has 100 subscribers.

Text message from British Gas: your annual boiler service appointment has been cancelled. I thought it would. Had already crossed it off my calendar.

Just starting to prepare my lunch.

I'm using an air fryer to cook the sausage, bacon and sliced tomatoes.

Quick and healthy.

Air frier? I'm intrigued.

So sausage and bacon and then healthy when fried in air?
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.
