I think it needs the drops back on it, more in keeping with speedster theme. They're easy enough to dress with modern bar tapes, which are comfortable too.
Otherwise, it looks like a good job well done. Enjoy.
Ta.
I'd like to try the drops but they'll have to wait until the time is right and I have bar tape and spare brake cables. FWIW, I love those minging 'ergo grips and that riser bar combo, it really works for me. Soooo comfortable and so many hand positions on a long ride. Pig dog ugly, yes. Comfortable, also yes
Just a couple of days until the big charity ride on Monday - 115miles from Portsmouth to Taunton. I've been taking it easy this week but put in a fairly gentle 20miles this morning just to keep the legs turning over and to burn off yesterday's doughnuts.
The bike has been cleaned and serviced and is in tip-top shape.
I'll be heading down to Portsmouth tomorrow afternoon to meet up with the other riders - there are 25 of us in all - then it's just the small matter of pedalling home.
Oh, and as of this morning, we've raised £7.5K for the leukaemia support group we're raising money for.

What's the forecast down there on Monday ?
Not too bad, around 22C and about 20% chance of rain; main question mark is over the wind, which will be almost certainly from the west, so in our faces, but we'll have to wait and see the strength.
