An angel called Helen, daughter of my mum's friends Ann & Keith, just came round and offered amongst other things care services for her in the next few weeks. Incredible but true.

More on the RPi3, seem Thunderbird is a bit of a resource hog, I managed to lock the Pi for about 5mins earlier when opening Thunderbird...too many windows open I think. Once running it was fine.
Think I'll try CLAWS or something similar.
Also this x86 emulator for the Pi looks interesting: https://eltechs.com/product/exagear-desktop/

Saw mum at hosp around 7pm, she was sat up in bed without needing any real op, they'd put shoulder back in without cutting into her ... was overjoyed at Liverpool / Man C result ; Helen has provided full care plan with timings and asked for all relevant phone numbers of friends/neighbours, mum was shocked at suggestion she wouldn't be able to get up & down stairs & use normal bed. Tough old bird for sure

Good news then - tough old bird indeed! I remember the fuss Clint Eastwood makes as he resets his own shoulder (well he would wouldn't he) in Thunderbolt & Lightfoot and the there's Lizzie Bennet just slipping a five year old's shoulder back with the very minimum of ...anything really in Pride & Prejudice (could have been another of Miss Austen's novels, dunno).
Onwards! I hope

I took the CRV for it's MOT this morning.
Whilst Dad (in his 80s) did the MOT Son showed me round his workshop where he is restoring an E-type for his own use.
It's a 3.8 flat floor drop head and chassis number 11. It's not complete yet but what has been done is of the highest standard.Drool-drool-drool.
And the CRV passed it's MOT.
