Garden parties to the right of me, garden parties to the left of me (well, to the rear of our house), deep in the valley of Covid Scott now resides.

'Music' and shrieking baboons still going on. And do Humberside Police care? No, they do not. I can't say I blame them, they had enough to be getting on with without all this.

thats got f..k all to do with the virus
Did I touch a nerve Dave?

Actually, there are a lot of people who believe 5G causes, amongst other things, Covid-19 (evidenced by recent attacks on engineers and mobile installations) and the charlatans of this world target them with this sort of crap.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

PS I also contacted my MP (by Email) yesterday. But I'm not worrying about it.
I actually got a reply from the Email to my MP just now.

I got a good reply from my local ( Tory ) MP James Davies, this morning. Proper letter, and prompt.
I get the impression he was one of the many who were and are not happy about Cummings still being in place.
"The impression created by Dominic Cummings' decisions last month has created deep concern which I understand and indeed share. I informed the Prime Minister of this on Sunday"

Meanwhile here in Wales we got practically NOTHING from Mark Drakeford today in his briefing. Mostly just vague promises about what might be possible in three weeks' time. This article gives an impression of how many people in rural areas are increasingly angry -

Business Secretary Alok Sharma is self-isolating at home after becoming unwell in Parliament
So does that mean that the entire cabinet will be contacted by the track and tracing and told to also self isolate at home?

They are supposed to be practicing "social distancing" so perhaps not.

His infection (or not) is still to be confirmed.

Does that mean that on Friday Nick and Colin will be listening to the "prototype build" in Colins back garden ?

I don't really understand why you posted that Phil or what it means, but I do find myself annoyed by it for some reason.

As it happens I am planning on having a day off work and going over to see Colin tomorrow, and the layout of his house will mean that a couple of doors can be opened and I will be able to listen to them while being in the back garden.

What you and Colin get up to in private is no concern of mine Nick.

Despite the laughing emoticon my attempt at humour seems to have failed dismally.

I went to the Osteopath yesterday to correct the back from all the digging. That's a close one on one thing without any social distancing. Requirements were no excess clothing other than what you're wearing, which apart from pants is going to come off. Sanitise hands on entry to the building and mask in place before entering.

I could imagine a visit to someone's house for a listen would be OK with masks worn by both parties. Visitor doesn't touch anything. Clothing on or off optional. I suppose best practice would require removal and washing of clothing on return home and maybe a shower. All this would fall within government guidelines and if it didn't, invoke the Cumming's ammendment.

The government comedy drama scripts are getting a bit silly.
This week, Moggie forces everyone back to Westminster in order to vote.
Ooh err, then Alok Sharma gets the virus !
Tune in next week to see if the whole of parliament has to self-isolate.

My local osteopath is closed for the duration. :( She works from an outbuilding in her garden.

I'm in need of some osteopathic manipulations myself.
