I seem to remember Yamaha used to offer DSP amps that had lots of different settings to simulate different venues, like jazz clubs, churches, big/small halls etc etc.
I always thought they were a good idea but never got to try one.
Did they work ?

I've got 3 of em. The effects seen to work by adjusting the EQ and I think adds a reverb type effect on some settings. I think they sound orrible personally. I use the direct button all the time they're in use.

Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

You'd think a bloke who had 3 would lend one out.

A Denon AVR-1909 https://www.denon.co.uk/uk/product/home ... rs/avr1909
A Kenwood (but his sister wouldn't, great gag) KR-V7050 https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_libra ... 7050.shtml
A Sony STR-DB895D https://www.superfi.co.uk/p-6002-discon ... tuner.aspx
You'd need to go through the spec sheets to find out if they do the DSP thingyumns that you'd expect them to Phil as I don't use them for 'that sort of thing'...
