Only four of us drunken mumblers tonight.
I've chickened out and the other three are in the hotel bar.

What time do things get going tomorrow?
I'm working this weekend and could be called out overnight, but hopefully not and there as soon as it starts

Room is open around 9.00 Mick but it's usually a slow start on a Sunday should be underway by 10.
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

He says he almost certainly can't make Owston on the Sunday now.
Sorry for the no-show tomorrow gents but we've just got home and I'm truly knackered after a week walking in the sun!
Steve, let me know if I owe you anything and I'll make it good.
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Thanks for organising yet again Steve. And good to catch up with everyone, and those that couldn't make it were missed.
As each file hosting site I've used has gone Pete Tong I've put the photos straight in to a blog again. Any corrections or omissions please let me know.

Simon has posted exactly what I wanted to say, thanks again Steve for organising another successful day.
I had a great day and I think, because numbers were down a bit, it made for a more informal gathering. There was noticeable discussion between displays and I think better feedback for individual systems.

Cheers Steve for organising agin. Numbers where down which is a shame but it was very relaxed and more time spent on each system. Hope today goes well, I’ve just got back, nice journey for a change just under 3 hrs door to door. And well done to Cressy, thoroughly enjoyed the system, it seemd to work for me with both the DIY NVA and 2W amp. Good stuff.

I enjoyed both days.
I was intially a bit dubious as it became obvious that numbers were not going to be at the level we have had before, but the day turned out to be great. There was much more feedback between and during dems than is usual, and as a result plenty of ideas for further developments in the amp and speaker depts. It was a talking shop about music and equipment, with occasional interruptions from system dems when people felt ready, no rush, no pressure. A great format.
It was also good today (Sunday) to meet up with new people, who all brought some impressive gear and introduced some new artists and recordings to explore.
All in all a super informal weekend of music and talk. Thanks to Steve for organising the event. And thanks to everyone for the constructive comments re the Fane "12s" They play nice with both transistors and valves.
I reckon they'd be great with a 45 or PX4 amp.

Thanks Steve for organising and can only agree with comments so far that it was a very enjoyable day, shame I couldn't stay over for today - hopefully people will add some comments and pics so we can see what happened.

Thanks Steve. And sorry to make people endure my Chinese power amp on Saturday.
Wish I could say thanks to Ed for the loan of his F6, but in the doghouse now I've suggested I need spend many more months in the garage, and get my hand in my pocket.

Also thanks to Steve. And I plan on a trip to Mexborough when my 45 PP amps are done.Cressy Snr wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 5:13 pm And thanks to everyone for the constructive comments re the Fane "12s" They play nice with both transistors and valves.
