Confirmed dates are Saturday and Sunday 27-28th October.

It will be a 2 day affair so feel free to attend either or both days.

Full agenda to be posted soon.

Hopefully i can make this one Dave.
The sunday is better for parking but I'll see what the agenda is before making up my mind
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

Going to try my best to come along to this one even though I have little interest in those DAC things.

DAC's won't take up 2 days so there will be other sources of amusement rest assured.

Having not been to one of these before, what's the format? Do people bring along kit for demo & comment?

I would be interested to hear a Soekris dam1021 if anyone is planning to bring one.

Hi RythMick
The experience at the venue is very good.
Own devices are welcome and usually get a audition in a line up of ascending purchase value. A DIY KIT produced value, fits into the same order as the retail values and are auditioned in the same line up.
The feed back is very fair and comments are expressed by skilled and experienced enthusiasts and engineers.
It is great to go through the auditions and learn just how much a particular design can surpass another.
The system that is used is a rare commodity, and to get a chance to hear a owned device played through it is a pleasure.

It's touch and go whether my amp will be completed in time, but I'd love to bring it along if possible.

Very old school design. By which I mean heavy.

If I make it, you'll have company in the form of a big Crown Macrotech.

Unfortunately the next meeting will have to be re-scheduled as we have issues in the listening room.

Apologies to all concerned, new meeting will be announced early November.
