I am keen on comparing things because of all the lies and shite thrown at me, it is the only way I can counter it. That was behind the desire to compare with Firey and Arkey. Both were talking shite about NVA.

You don't need to compare your phono stages as I am happy to say they bettered most of what was at the last bake off.

Next meet is speakers I think but I am happy to do an open day and we can bring whatever we wish. There will be something rather special resident on the day.

So Sunday September 24th.

Sunday 24th September will be the first Yorkshire HI-FI club meeting.

Attendees can bring some kit, or just themselves but they should bring 3 LP's or CD's if possible.

PLEASE can I plead with people to not give me the "if he is going I aren't" bollox.

The last meeting was highly enjoyable with lots of positive feedback. No reason why the next one won't be.

I have some exceptionally good kit for people to listen to and the room is sounding much better now. (no advertising banners on the day RD)

More details to follow but please feel free to reply if you are thinking of attending.

I could bring my A20 and the omni speakers.

or maybe the speakers could wait until a proper speaker bake-off.

Whatever you guys want.

Put me down for it Dave...
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

I think they sound good, but the general concensus according to what I was told in another thread, that turned quite nasty, is that they sound like crap and anyone who can't see/hear that, is either deaf, daft or just not being honest with me about them.

Let's just say they sound "a bit different to the norm" That would be a more accurate assessment.

If they do sound crap I will tell you, bitching and back biting is not what I do! :D

Just looked - trains are out, absolute shite service.

I really hated the car journey last time it was torture. :|
