You can't change how people treat you or what they say about you. All you can do is change how you react to it.

Because of the Northern train drivers Saturday strike action I'm going to end up changing trains at Mirfied, and nearly an hours wait for the connection.

There's a good Veggie cafe just up the road on Trinity Street called Peppercorns. Good noms.

In the end I waited till lunchtime and had a small fish and chips (£4) from a chip shop a few yards from the shop.
Nick's new power supply for the Garrard 401 was amazing. Even I could tell the improvement within seconds.

A Big Thank You to Dave for Hosting another very enjoyable Event,
A even bigger Thank You for directing me to the Pie Shop
The DIY Monoblocks were superb brought along by the Paradise Duo. These from recollection presented with similarities that I related to the strengths of the Paradise.
Ali did it again, turned up with a Bang for Buck bit of kit, great Class A Monoblocks for £280, worth every penny, and then later psyched everybody out showing them they haven't got a chance of winning the Wam Suitcase Challenge, especially when it was visible their was room for a Kitchen Sink left in the Suitcase after it was packed full of Hifi Devices.
Phonostages as always are very individual choices, so we heard a variety of designs from Digital to Valve Hybrid, Valve JFET Hybrid onto All Valve.
I am looking forward to the next Phonostage Bake Off to hopefully reaquaint with a few models that were not on Audition.
I was happy to peel the Cellofane of a few albums, and put out a few unfamiliar sounds, shall we have a vote for the return of 'Kaleo' to a future event.
As a added bit of Icing Sugar to the day, I met another local to me enthusiast, Phil 'Pre 65', in the thick'T' of Yorkshire'T',
In the words of Guy Martin " Smashing, Fabulous, Bloody Marvalous".
