#1 Proposed Chesterfest.

Post by al newall »

Considering a one day audio meet in Chester. Likely to be Saturday 26th July or any Saturday in August. To be arranged.

Not expecting large numbers a la Owston ( i think we managed seven last time). But that was in the days of WAD and there were very few members from round here.

Things seem to have changed a bit, so hoping for ten to fifteen this time.

So what i would like, is an idea of numbers. ie. those who live close enough to attend a one day event, and indeed would like to, bearing in mind the dates above.
A similar post will appear on the two other relevant forums.
Much to learn there is.

Dave.

i wouldn't expect anyone to make that journey for one day.
This is really aimed at people in the North West and Wales, who might be put off travelling to Owston etc.

Thats great Martin.

I won't fix a date just yet, till i'm sure there's no further interest from all three forums.
Then i'll try and arrange something that suits the majority.

Thanks Mark.

We are still gathering numbers so i'll leave this thread running for a while.
Details will be posted closer to the event.

Hi Ali
Do you fancy sharing transport? Seems silly taking more cars than necessary?

Yeah sure no problem. Were you planning on taking anything? I'll have to confirm nearer the date as although I still have a place in Leeds,I now work up in Scotland, returning regularly to see my daughter,so will see nearer the time,as work commitments may get in the way.
