Just wondering what to pack, apart from the tartan trews
As I said earlier, I'm bringing a system, fronted by a much modified Lenco GL75 with Mayware arm and AT mm cart. Anyone who wants to use it is welcome to. Might not sound like much reading about it but it's bloody good - guaranteed.

Just in case there is anyone coming who has not been before and is arriving tomorrow (Friday), most of us who are travelling distance will arrive tomorrow afternoon/evening and book into the Owston Hall Hotel. We then spend the evening at Owston Lodge (the event venue) which is a safe twenty minute walk from the hotel where we will partake in supper, highly intellectual conversation and a little liquid refreshment until we are kicked out, conversations for the hardy to continue back at the hotel bar.

Just saying because I recall on my last visit, there were a few people not aware of this essential pre event ritual and consequently missed out.

Looking forward!

The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number

As I've not attended an Owston event before I thought I would just double check; is this were I'm heading for tomorrow?

Yes Ray, that is the venue for our event.

Fostex speakers and inductors are in the van.

The golf club hotel where we sleep/breakfast is here

I better get a move on then. :)

I wasted an hour trying to find my phone charging cable. :(

Guess what, the little bugger was where I thought it should be, but hidden underneath some papers. Just got to eat a bacon sarnie, drink my Rooibos and pack a bag.

Will the slides be available from the Library Stacks for viewing later as the Kent Massiff are arriving late this evening and we don't want to miss out on too much education.... :)

I'h here now, I've seen Mike and we should be leaving for the rub-a-dub at 6pm.

Traffic on the M11 - A14 - A1 was bad, I should have left earlier.

Have great time everyone. I am in Wales this weekend cycling up and down hills, so can't join you all.
Hope to be able to make the next Owston.
Looking forward to the photos and reports :)
