Can you link to where that quote came from so I can see in what context it was made ?

I sort of read that as pertaining to NVA equipment rather than as in a more general manner.antonio66 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 12:41 pmhttps://hifisubjectivist.org/viewtopic. ... 5&start=10

Loosing track now
Us well we should keep buying, borrowing, listening and telling the truth
Just what bit of not-truth is being questioned?Tell the truth, tell it as you see it, positive or negative, it really doesn't matter, it is the truth that matters.
Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.

When I posted that quote Nick, I was not questioning non truths. You can see my original post at the top of the page.

Was going to but can't help thinking it'll all just kick off again and who's got time for that!Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 9:24 pmI notice you are back on again, so why don't you post.
I've posted, let's see what happens. A fresh start from me anyway.

So Richard, can we (you and me) forget the past ?

HiFi reproduction of music and the gear to reproduce it covers many facets and surely there's room for all. NVA is one very good commercial way of getting a good musical end result and some of the ideas expressed in the products aren't so off-kilter with the mainstream these days I feel (having looked inside many an amp in my time) although the use of specialised adhesives (for different tasks) is probably the most controversial I reckon. The valve based home builds enthusiastically discussed here are another great way of having fun with the hobby and I'm sure the musical results justify all the fuss and bother too. I build solid state amp-kits basically (although the passive preamps entail 'switching-hydras' to be individually made and fitted up), and being able to take the extra step in laying out, preparing a case to take transformers and valve bases and then knowing what components to buy and fit here and there is awe-inspiring to me right now.
Surely we all have something to contribute and share?

Any plans to do a conventional case range Richard.

If you want to tinker then no, NVA isn't for you... The designs have been expertly tinkered with already so you don't have or need to... And they can be serviced if needs be.
Buy a kit and make your own if you don't do this already

Aye Noddys still a snivling wretch, but you on the other hand are a toxic nonce.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2018 6:03 pm Sadly Noddy hasn't changed, it was just a wind up, he still wants conflict, so back on block.
Sorry ed I don't want any of this as well. The only person who can stop it is Nick, but it does show people for what they are.
