To paraphrase Katy Perry, I rode a bike and I liked it. Today, 1st proper ride on Capsey for a while, so nice to ride a bike thats light, fast and gear free again :)

Had to pop out and get essentials, might as well get some exercise in at the same time...

Welcome back into the fold Mr B.

Now, let me guess what they might have been...

I've been out on my bike every day since Tuesday to compensate for working from home, 20-25 miles each day - local of course. I've been riding late afternoons but this morning I got out fairly early - it was downright windy, a chilly one from the NE.

Milk, eggs, bag of spuds and carrots actually.

I've only had the chance to work from home for the last 2 days, our team has been split into '2's to minimise the chance of infection but still support the work. Thought I'd best get some practise in if I have to start proper bike commuting, I don't think I'm fit enough to do it everyday regardless. I've got my signed bit of paper stating I'm an essential worker and have to travel up to the big smoke no matter what, so if I'm stopped and the Army/Police/Ticket Inspector demands "papers" (in mock WW2 German accent) I can whip out my snazzy 'pass'. Wont stop me getting the virus though....meh!

The seat fabric is actually my faded old black jeans!

Have you been rummaging through our recycling in order to cover your sofas?

Phew, it was windy out this morning. Managed a hilly 20miles but it was hard work!

Had a near miss too; chap walking his dog along one of the lanes, him one side, dog the other. He saw me coming, crossed over, sccoped up his little pooch, then turned and stepped out right in front of me - close, but just managed to avoid him but social distancing had to go - hope he wasn't carrying anything other than the pooch! I really don't know what he was thinking or if he was thinking at all.

Good effort. Did you get any sun ?
I just went out & put a new rear window wiper on the car. Narrowly avoided frostbite.
I'll put my winter gear on and go for a stroll in a minute.
