Not at all Grasshopper, oh she expects them to be clean so some might need a bit of attention but then each needs placing in exactly the right place - You'd know if you saw ...

Just been out on the bike for first time in 3 months. Did about 50mins, so 11.5 to 12miles in my poor state of fitness.
It was nice & sunny as I was getting ready, then fog suddenly rolled in as I was pumping up the tyres !

Mystery illness slowly resolving but not fully understood. However some clues from a set of five blood tests I arranged and paid for last Friday :

RBC Magnesium : Bottom of range - not good, explains fatigue & some other symptoms
RBC Zinc : Middle of range - fine
Vitamin B1 : near top of normal range - OK .
Vitamin B6 : six times the top level of the normal range ( !! )
Omega 3 /6 fat ratio - not back yet.

I'm sure DtB could do better! Perhaps a Garrod 401 or a PX4?

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Yeah, I'm a part-time Wing Commander. My mate got me the job, he's an under carriage commander, his father was a nose cone Commander. Between us we've got most of the plane under control.

Back on the scene...like an overweight...unfit...dayglo fixeh pedalin' machine.

Crikey that was hard work, I've let my Fixie Fun sessions slide for a bit, I've been spending most of my free time working on The Bullet for the last 2 months.Got back on Scobswell, Ooooffff, I need to get fit again.

Popped up to London to see the tree in Trafalgar Square, nice and quite today, anyone would think Christmas is coming or summat.

Apart from the short commute I do most days I've hardly been on a bike since my crash at the end of September so I've lost fitness and gained some weight.

I've committed to a charity bike ride in August so today I started my preparations with a 20mile ride at a gentle 15mph - I found it quite hard but I guess its inevitable after that sort of lay-off. I still have a little stiffness and some twinges in my lower back after my crash but I had no problems during the ride and I'm hoping that rebuilding my strength will help it to settle down completely.

Oh, and the charity bike ride - 120miles from Portsmouth to Taunton in a day!
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Great news Ray - glad to hear you're on the way back.

I seriously hope that route is by the back roads - the main A roads on that route are EVIL for cyclists...
