So I've been back in the saddle today. Admittedly only on a spin bike in the office gym but I managed 20minutes at 160watts (equivalent to about 6.5miles). I could have done more but didn't want to push my luck given that my back is still very sore and stiff. No ill-affects so far so I'll push it a bit further in a day or two and aim to get back on my bike over the weekend.

Dunno what the weather was like in Debm today. Too foggy to see...
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Nope. Cloud base is too low for flying.

Harmony and Destiny Angel are going to be a bit stuck if anything kicks off with the Mysterons then.

Reminiscing time; Destiny was the Angels squadron leader, the other pilots were Melody, Harmony, Symphony and Rhapsody. Their Angel Interceptors don't look dissimilar to modern fighter jets like the Typhoon and the French Rafale.

Those were the days. :D

Oooh, I've gone all unnecessary thinking about the angel pilots so a good job I went to the gym before I saw Steve's post!

A good improvement today, 25mins at 180watts, equivalent to around 8.5miles so longer and faster. Average heart rate around 125bpm. No ill affects though I could feel the recent absence of any significant exercise. My back has been improving day on day, not quite there yet but mobility is noticably better even over the last couple of days.

Gotta take the rough with the smooth. I've been cycling to work again every day for the last fortnight and that is quite comfortable despite the ongoing lesser aches in my lower back. I think the aches will improve if I start to rebuild my strength/fitness so I had planned to start some core strength work in the gym and to begin clocking up some miles last weekend but have been suffering with a stinker of a cold that has left me feeling well under par - hopefully this weekend!
