Should be ok with me steve.

Chris,

Glad to hear you will be joining us. I might just need you to transport the MLTLs to the meet as I doubt very much I'll have room in my car with the Acorns and gm70 monoblocs.

Yeah that should be OK, the following weekend is tricky for me too as 'my little girl' is 21 on the 26th April too.

I'll probably just do the Saturday as normal if thats OK Steve.

Any good B+B and Pub recommendations? I've never done an 'Owsfest' before.

The troops stopped at the Travelodge on the A1 last time:
http://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hote ... /Doncaster.
Rooms are currently £40 a night, breakfast at the neighbouring Little Chuff is extra.

It's a short drive to Owston, and the nearest pub, The Burghwallis, is just over a mile away. But what you need to know Dave is that with a few exceptions the beer isn't that great in Donny :(. Still, if you're lucky the locals in The Burghwallis can make up for it...

There's some background reading over at t'other place from the last Owston.

We all turn up with varying amounts of kit, and setup round the perimeter of the room. After we've all caught up with each other and admired each other's latest piece of mdf Steve calls the proceedings to order and each system has three tracks played before moving on to the next. There's the usual dismay at Eva Cassidy or Prodigy (sorry Steve, I don't mind them at all, honest ) or the same track being played on every system, but it's all good natured. At the end of the day those that are stopping disappear to the pub.

Depending on how many turn up and the split between days we move on to trying kit from different systems together to see what happens. I was going to say that it's a great boys toys weekend, but I don't want to discriminate against any girls who'd like to bring their toys too :D.
