I did this last year too - autumn break deal.

Had to buy new trousers for it!

There we were (Jean and I) playing bowls in Sudbury this afternoon when Jean got a phone call to say her Mum had a fall , banged her head and had been taken to hospital.

Stop game, dash home for a quick snack and rush up to Bradford Royal Infirmary !

The old gal is not too bad but they are keeping her in till tomorrow, so now we are in her house for the night.

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

This sort of thing is just what peeps our age are having to deal with.

Parents eh! I wonder how many times they have thought, Kids eh...who needs 'email!

Very complicated emotions, situations and people to negotiate with, phew!

Bit of fun....

NE555 as a class-D headphone amp

And seeing as Ramadan starts tomorrow (maybe), here's another fun one from a few years ago, also using a 555 (but for something sensible this time):

Hybrid vacuum tube/solid-state audio power amplifier

Jeans Mum is home now, very tired as she got no sleep in hospital.

Fortunately no broken bones, and the head injury was no more than a graze. She was VERY lucky.

Saw this

'Superfans' buy more than two-thirds of all vinyl - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-44121657

I must spend around 60 quid a month on vinyl, but it all gets played......

I'm sitting here with the same pain I had a week or so ago. :(

The pain is easing off a bit, but it's unpleasant. Hopefully I can go to bed soon.

Oooh, not good. Stress brings it on then ?
Take it as easy as you can. Sounds like a visit to the doc to properly investigate this.

Serious Doc time. If you mess yourself up you can't help anyone. Get a check up.
