Yes. CPU sinks with a fan. £8 plus a cheap LED PS rather than £50-odd a piece. If I get on with the MoFo I can think about a larger investment. But if I end up with 6 channels that's a lot of heatsink.

I'll be interested to see those heatsinks Simon as mine are rather large, and something smaller would make boxing it up an easier task.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
There's a photo I uploaded in the last post on page 786 - the tape measure is 5m for scale!
Steve pointed me in this direction. Need to make sure the fan has unhindered airflow.
The thing that I can't quite bottom in my mind is attaching the board to the chip in this orientation. Either the board will oversail the heatsink, and then get heated up by the fan. Or link the chip with wire links to the PCB by the side of the heatsink.

Looking at your pic a few pages back I bent the mosfet legs to give an offset and pointed the board upwards. I left all the big caps off the board mounted them next to the cpu coolers so theres not alot of weight on the mosfet.
The fan was then mounted over a hole in the base board.
The tube manual is quite like a telephone book. The number of it perfect. It is useful to make it possible to speak with a girl. But we can't see her beautiful face from the telephone number
This image was used in an RAF campaign to recruit engineers back in the early 60’s. Would you join?
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.
