I sincerely hope you don't need a new boiler any time soon. I had a similar call 18 months ago...I got a free boiler, installed for free under the govt scheme to get rid of old, uneconomical boilers. Your call may have been genuine.pre65 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:41 pm I had an Indian chap ring me a while ago regarding the Government helping me buy a new boiler.
He asked me some questions,
Q1 What fuel does your boiler use
A1 It's nuclear powered.
Q2 Who installed the boiler
A2 King Henry the 8th
At this point he started laughing and said he'd try me again some other time.
Call number added to my blacklist.

I don't qualify under the current scheme.

Mojitos have been ordered. Norwich continues to delight and I've fallen in love with a Kawai electric piano. Anna's taken me on a majestic mystery tour of Norfolk.

Just watched monty python holy grail with son number 1.
He was completely perplexed by it and didnt get it
Which made it funnier
Apparently strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is not the basis for a system of government.

I have had a Kawai electric/mechanical piano for nearly ten years and absolutely love it too. It really is a remarkable instrument and I once fooled a pianist friend into thinking it was a Boesendorfer when, unbeknown to him, I ran the output through the gramophone which I occasionally do. What Kawai model do you have?andrew Ivimey wrote: ↑Sat Mar 10, 2018 5:59 pm Mojitos have been ordered. Norwich continues to delight and I've fallen in love with a Kawai electric piano. Last in Norwich to ring at St Pater Mancroft but that was years ago. My son lived there for a while and from him gather that, like Exeter, the place has not been improved by hosting such a large university campus.

I always wanted a big organ, but I made do with a Casio keyboard.
I only seem to use it the few weeks before Christmas every year to play carols.(quite badly to be honest )

Happy fingers are what are seriously hoped for for both Anna and myself. We have a battered to buggrr baby grand which may have aesthetic appeal but is worse than an original fender Rhodes from Hell.
I was looking at a Clavinova but the Kawai is so much better.
After the hols in Malteser & Gonzo I'm off to find this Kawai...

That's the one with the "bloody weather" cartoon interlude. First time I saw that was in hysterics

I hope the snowy weather tails off after the weekend as I'm booked on a coach trip to tour the Morgan car company factory in Malvern on Wednesday.
