Didn't know they were owned by Rutland Partners. When did that happen?
Not too surprised TBH - hardly bought anything from them for yonks, what I have before they no longer got and what they have now I don't want. Haven't been in an actual store for years.
I remember once trying to refresh my stock of various colours wires, like I have often before, and they were out of stock of half of it. Got so frustrated went to Rapid instead. Broke a trend that did.

Uh oh. I've got an outstanding click-and-collect order with them that's yet to be fulfilled.

I saw a special offer leaflet in the recycling the other day and it made me think - I haven't had much from them lately .. ? No surprise then that something is up. I did wonder if employing someone to more or less stand by the entrance and greet you when you came in was a bit of a waste of resources - especially when you could never get service for passives at the counter at the back !
Edinburgh Woollen Mill - good fit ! - expect more Christmas jumpers with LED's .

I note (again) - "... is the latest High Street name in trouble.
A string of clothing retailers and restaurants, plus Toys R Us UK, have all run into financial problems in recent months."

Starting to feel like my old man - after he retired all traces of where he used to work disappeared.

It's not uncommon, I'm afraid, I think it's called progress.....
