#1 Frank Kelly RIP

Post by jack »

Frank Kelly, who played my role model, Father Jack, has died aged only 77 :(

As the Great Man would have said: "Feck"!!

And it was exactly 18 years ago today that we lost Dermot Morgan. (1998)

My mum couldn't watch Father Ted - she found Father Jack just too repulsive. I told her that was the point!

Ah, that's sad.
What a superb character though . I was watching an episode only last night - The one where he jumps out of the airliner taking both parachutes, one for himself and one for the drinks trolley .

Every episode is a classic, I can watch them endlessly.

It's the largest lady's lingerie department in Ireland.

My lovely lovely little horse.

I don't believe it!

You saw the whole of the moon.

Down with this sort of thing. Take care now.

Small, far away.

And one of my favourites - kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse.
