#1 Plethora of OTLs

Don't know if that is the correct plural term for OTLs, or whether it's a pack.

Unfortunately the first one, the Firebottle has returned to me because the mains transformer has gone short circuit primary, which is a real PITA.

Don't know if you can tell I'm a bit of a fan of OTLs. They all have toroidal mains transformers, can't see any logic in using anything different.
The Firebottle is based on the original Rozenblit circuit but has been modified since, the middle one is an all triode own design and the last is based on the Tim Mellows circuit.

All different valves (isn't it great that there is a choice) but I think the best performer is the last one, plenty of grunt and no dc offset at higher outputs.

Yes Ali, breaking in the output valves in pairs, sounds wonderful.

I'm getting 10W per channel with one output valve and 25W per channel with two output valves in each channel, into 8 ohms.
Very pleased with this.
