I'm building a valve preamp from a VTA kit (SP14) but I am lacking just one
resistor. It's drops 75% of the HT (265V ) to set the -Ve LT voltage to 65 volts wrt HT ground. I imagine the resistance isn't very critical.
I am new to valves.
It's surprisingly difficult to track one down. Could someone please suggest a supplier and or acceptable value/s that might improve my search.

270K would be a more common size, but check HFC.

I had a quick look and they stock a Kiwame 300K 2W resistor, and possibly other makes.
The Kiwame is 0.84p and they have 970 in stock.
