No, but you could be the first :D

I've only got Golden Dragon & Teonex (an "other brand" NOS), have only heard the Teonex most recently.

My KT66 are Russian.

But I have no others to compare them with.

PS I might have a couple of used Gold Dragon KT66 somewhere, I'll have a look tomorrow. If I find them you can have them.

Were those Russian ones in your KT66 amp at Eggborough?

Yep !

When I got my Quad 11 amps they had a duff set of GEC KT66 valves. I replaced them with 4 Gold Dragons but one went phut after a while so I got 4 Russian ones from Jibbles.

So I should have (in theory) 3 old spares somewhere.

Yep as the FE126E are now getting a workout I decided to try the Shuguang KT-66 with the Wharfedale back in only had about an hour but they seem to be good different to the 5881s
Abit more slam and more detail I think i maybe tempted to get a spare set of the Shuguang KT-66s but just though if anyone had tried the Sovtek at much the same price :)
