Ed, not sure if you've picked up on it but Soekris is introducing a line of commercial R2R DACs, completely finished so just plug and play. Here's a link to the middle of the range model;

No problem Ed.

Spreading the net a little as I'm also in the market for a new DAC, I've been reading up on the new Denafrips R2R DACs and I'm seriously considering a purchase of one (versus the Holo Audio Spring); their basic model, the Ares, sells for <$600 and there is a lot of positive commentary out there about how good it is;

Audiophonics in France sell a rebadged version of the Denafrips Ares but at a significant price uplift;

Change of mind! I decided not to spend a couple of grand on a new R2R DAC (see a couple of posts back) and decided to go the DIY route. So, today I ordered a Soekris R2R module, the DAM1121-01

Once it arrives and I start to build I'll start another thread. I plan to couple it with a valve buffer.
