#1 Editing Vortexbox tags etc.

I've scanned a few 100 CDs - some of the older, more obscure, ones have incorrect or absent tags - also, as there's no standard for genres and we have Arabic, Spanish, French, English, Greek etc. music and they tend to put the tags in their own language (and font), how can I edit all this down to something sensible? Preferably with an easy-to-use tool, not direct DB hacking.

Mp3Tag, assuming that you have a Windows machine of some sort.

I've been using Picard and MusicBrainz.
Not too bad, except it has a habit of splitting out collections into the individual albums - probably a setting I need to play with.
Been using Mp3Tag to fix up cover art in the FLACs where needed...

Multiple disc sets should have the same name tag. No Spelling differences.
You then number the discs as 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3.
It works with Logitech Media Server, and Rock music, but I suspect that it all falls apart with Classical, with all the various Composers, followed by the various Conductors/Orchestras/Concertos etc.
