#1 squeezebox old news?

Post by andrew Ivimey »

I've loaded squeezebox app onto a Samsung galaxy 5 and it doesn't work - oh dear. Might not be the beginning of the end, just the erm ...

My galaxy 2 still works... I think.

You could try Squeeze Controller instead:

I use it on an Android tablet. Works well.

iPeng is only available for Apple devices, AFAIK.

That's why I couldn't find it. ¿?¿@!

The problem might be with a modern swish android system and that might be so with any of the apps. Spose I'd better look into this.

My boy's Hudl runs Android 5.1 and it runs the Logitech Squeezebox control app with no problems.

My point being it's a device that has a quite recent version of Android running on it.
As Phil pointed out, it's an Android tablet from Tesco.

As does my phone Chris but still... Hudl. I'm supposed to shop at Tesco?

Squeezer works really well (on android 5.1)

I have both Squeezebox and Squeezer apps on my phone - I prefer Squeezebox but it seems to be increasingly glitchy so end up using Squeezer...

You don't have to set foot in the place if you know what you're looking for
My son's Hudl runs 5.1 too, so we might try Squeezer, even though the official Logitech app works fine.
