At 8-30 in the morning!? Not even I go near a wine bottle till about 4, unless it is to take the emptys out. No, I think my SB is just a tad touch sensitive and doesn't like being neglected!
Philosophers have only interpreted the world - the point, however, is to change it. No it isn't ... maybe we should leave it alone for a while.

If I've swapped between ethernet and wifi I have to tell my SBT to look at the right connection otherwise its does a hufty.

Same if I've used a USB HD to play tracks from, it needs to be told to look at the Vortexbox library now and not the library on the USB HD.

Once I got used to do this everything seems to go OK!

I have not used the Squeezebox touch for a week or so, and now it can't find my music. :(

Last time it did that I reinstalled LMS and all was well, but this time it has not worked.

The touch is on a wired connection via my router.

What's up doc ? :)

LMS will take a little while to scan your library again, so give it a little while then try accessing again from the touch.

Not sure what you mean. :?

LMS control panel says it is running.

I tried the ethernet cable on the TV (TV and touch are close) and the internet TV works so the connection to the router is OK. And my computer is also wired to the router so I know that connection is OK.

My music library works on the computer with Foobar.

Oh Dave, you are so kind.

Young Chris has helped me on the phone, it seems the touch won't "see" the LMS on the main computer, even pressing the reset button, or doing a factory reset won't help.

But after lunch I've got a few other things to try, so I'll post the results a bit later.

Where do I send the cheque to?
Flattery can get you everywhere ;)

There might also be a firewall issue at play, so it might be worth turning that off while the router is disconnected from the BT line.

It might even be worth trying before you try turning off the antivirus.

Well, it seems resetting the router has done the trick.

My thanks to Chris, for taking the time to help me sort the problem out.

Now I can play Siris Svale band with the new preamp. :D
