That reminds me Ed, do you know of any sources for LU1014 ?

F3 looks interesting as well.

Grey Rollins bought an industrial quantity some time back and as far as I know he(apart from Nelson) was the only one to stump up enough cash. I believe he dispersed them as a group buy but you'd need to confirm with him what the score is regarding any leftovers.

This thread sheds some light on it....

I was never tempted by the F3 so I can't give you any more info on it, or the jfets.

Accuphase class A kit, with a custom hand-built (by the driver designer) solid tungsten cable loom, with lead shielding. Amps were usually running about 50% of full output. Madisound in the US demo'd the setup a few years back.

mmmmm

I suggest the understanding of the gerund form, as distinct from the normal participle, maybe a serious misuse of time available for other things. however, wrong it is, I have known to be.

:spam1:

or could we say you're gerunding?

Nick, in the past we've used http://www.mark5.co.uk/search.php this company to great effect trying to find obscure semiconductors for stuff we repair here at work, might be worth a go.

Prices can be 'negotiated' if they seem a bit high

DTB

EDIT, even though stuff doen't appear on their search engine they can often get it from elsewhere we've found.

That link you provided Ed does have the jfet in question, so I will be ordering some today. Does anybody else want any of the semiconductors they have? If so let me know and I will add it to the order.
