#47 Finish line ?
Phew !
I think it's all connected up .
Better check a bit tomorrow before I switch on .
Not entirely happy with how the wiring came out, we will have to see how it performs, then maybe re-route and get some heatshrink in there if it needs tidying up .
I can try tweaks on input wire with difficulty in the future, but i rather liked the grey wire last time I did a comparison
All donations ( of shielded wire ) gratefully received !
Pic below ... now where's the lid ?

Have you checked the date in your camera recently Mark?

Well Ed, it wasn't entirely a humourless reply. I would never discourage anyone from attempting humour either !!
I think ( don't assume I know exactly what I mean whenever I write - I'm too abstract for that ) my cryptic reply was meant to imply that I've no idea if this camera has some sort of date associated with it , it's just a thing I use for putting pictures on the threads . The real cameras are the ones listed above.
What date does it have on it, and how do I see that ? - I couldn't see anything on the picture, or properties or suchlike ? I expect it's January 1st 1900 or something .

actually the F4 image says it was taken on 16th feb 2004 by a finecam M410R......I wasn't being serious, obviously, but I use the date on photo files to remember when I took the damned things....I was half assuming that others do the same, but forgot that most people don't have my memory problems......

On the Railway forum I inhabit, uploaded photos in the gallery have all these extra details listed.
Make and model of camera, exposure setting, focal length, exposure program, metering mode, flash setting and a few more things. This data must be in all digital photos ?

They may be in the original tiff (or whatever, many seem to produce jpg now) but any further image processing may remove it.

It's like somebody insisting that your flies are undone, but I keep checking and they're not !
I can see a 'date modified - 16th Feb 2004 ' if I right-click > 'properties' on the image file when it's in my directory here, but I don't see any such info when I access the picture from the forum .
I'll put it on the list of things to do - after sorting out the sock drawer .

If you find any odd ones without toe nail holes I might have some matches for them.
