Just bought a Tripath amp off the bay.It's rather good,and indeed sounds quite like a valve amp.There is one problem-the PS caps are rated at 35v and are run at this voltage,so not good for reliability.Can anyone suggest where I can get 10000 uF say min of 50v that are no more than 30mm high please?

They have probably been selected for their height, rather than working voltage. In which case you may struggle to find anything.

Build a new box for it. :D

Aye,I had the same thought.They are decent ones though-Elnas,assuming they are not rip-offs.
