Hmm, great renditions especially from the Frogg, but actually (and I've thought this often) Dolly Parton (easily dismissed because of her wigs, tits and apparent shallow image on talk shows) has an absolutely magnificent voice with just the right amount of gravel in her voice coupled with tunefulness and authoritive control. I hate to say it but I think she is one excellent performer and it's about time I got some of her albums :D

Actually, I'm in to female vocals so must investigate her myself.

Oxfam here we come ! I see charity shop CDs prices seem to be on the "up", but then it does go to a good cause.

I need some of the parts on these amps for another project, so if anyone wants to have a go at building one there will be some bits available to help you on your way.

Hi Ed

Sorry, none spare. The two big ones I have are on the GM70 amp for the choke input resistor.

All my heatsinks came off e-bay.

I had a look a while ago and there were none as big as you want.

These are the parts that are surplus to my new project.

Mosfet on heat sink.
10 turn bias adjustment pot.
100W load resistor. (needs a fairly hefty heatsink)
2 takman resistors
2 caps (1 Rifa & 1 WD Soniqs)

Basically just need a power supply !

This photo shows one lot, but there are two identical lots. Free delivery to Owston.

Not even if two back to back?

Dunno what it is but in recent years you just can't get heatsinks like you used to.

Like that one of Phil's, sure Maplin use to stock summat virtually identical once (if not the same)

The "big" heatsinks that I use on GM-70 were originally one BIG unit and I cut it in half.

Somewhere on the forum is a link to an American company that makes their own heatsinks.

Found it !

And this lot in Australia it don't help much if you just want a pair of smaller sinks but if you're looking to built a Nelson pass F5 amp or something shipping would be about the cost of one heatsink say the MF 30 at 52 $AUD http://www.conradheatsinks.com/welcome.htm

Mike ... when you said 'will this do' were you aiming it at me?..If so I don't think you could have read my initial post cos it specified size and spec.....
