Oh.

Can you not see the picture of a fundamental revisionist as a nice zen paradox-machine I've shown to help you?

In the end I ordered 1 of GX283 and 1 of GX288.

That should house my DAC and the T amp (amp-power supply-transformer).
I had an e-mail this morning (dated 26th) with a copy of the invoice so looks like they might be dispatching from Milan very soon.

They came a little while ago,and are in "flat pack" form.

I've put one together, and am pleased with the quality and finish.

The front and back panels have two different brushed finishes so you can choose your favourite and the thick sides are also reversible, and could act as heatsinks.

Perhaps I should save them for the mos-fet amp and power supply.

I've just received a pair of chassis from an e-bay seller that are ideal for a monoblock project ! (only ordered them yesterday)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0382682046

The aluminium is a tad thicker than yer average Maplin/Hammond chassis and a nice size for monoblocks, and the lip at each end enables them to be screwed down to the wood base.
