As per the subject line - the Transcendent Beast build calls for a short length of 14 gauge wire to make up a ground buss on the circuit board. Everything I'm finding so far is being sold in stupidly long lengths, or is stranded, which isn't the right stuff.
I only need a little bit and I don't care if it's bare or has the sleeve on it - has anyone got anything suitable in their stash? Postage paid obviously, plus a nominal sum for the wire itself.

Try a local electrician. Heavy duty twin and earth cable might have what you want.

Good call - there's an old-fashioned ironmongers in town which has been there since 1888, I bet they'll be able to sell me the exact amount I need for about 4p.
