Welcome Jamie, enjoy the forum.

Those Ditton 66 speakers are "legendary", and seem to go for muchos wonga on Ebay. How do you find them ?

hi to both of you,
well re the dittons, they have been a bit tricky to set up right in my small living room,i made some mana type platforms for them first to get them off the floor(im a welder by trade).
i originally had them firing down the long side of the room but they didnt take to well to that and my seating postion was near the left speaker, so i now have them in the near field listening postion and they sound bloody marvelous!
the only negative thing id say about them is the bass could do with being tighter

Im just about to recap them so im listening to my part doc modded mordaunt short pageants at present.
id also like to hear a a pair of epos es-14's at some point too.

A lot of us here don't use shop bought speakers, but there are many (and various) home built designs.

In my youth, that Epos model was to be desired, but alas, I never got to hear a pair.
