#1 Firehazard Amplification.

Post by firehazard »

Hi,

I've recently been looking for a small stereo amp project and found your forum.

Lot's to learn here it seems!

I live in Dublin and fix and fit central heating equipment for money. It's thirty five years since I started so I'm old and cynical now.

Recently I've been putting small PA systems together. Along the lines of the HK lucas but a little stronger. One of these is for me and the low budget version is for my nephew who is seventeen. Party time.

The small tube amp project is for my father who loves music too.

So that's why I am here.

Take care.............

Hi Simon,

Firehazard is the same sort of concept as "shoddy" seems to be on this forum.

Inspired by my guitar amp, an old AC30.

Scientific proof that a rat's nest of wire can sound wonderful.

There are some really great threads on this site, I just found it a few days ago so it's a lot to read.

Thanks to everyone who has posted here.

For what its worth I used to have an AC30 that kept catching fire (valve socket turned to carbon).
