Yeah, I know, its WB's 'singing' voice that throws me everytime though.

Nothing is a 'fixie' - as I have explained before.
Also - Creedence Clearwater Revival are not the sort of band who would use the word 'fixie'.

He's right y'know .

Even though the lyrics to Proud Mary include "big wheels keep on turnin'" at no point does John Fogerty reference the gearing options available.

There you go Mr B, the name for your next bike is 'Nuffin', cos, as Mark says, and allowing for some local dialect, "Nothing is a 'fixie'"! 8)

You're liking that then ?
Kind of Blue isn't the only jazz masterpiece, is it ? :)

I might get a vinyl ( re-issue ) copy of 'Shades of Blue', there's not much between that and DF .

Flippin not arf. I listened to it twice today on the choo choo. It comes from that period of jazz when the English scared the poop out of the merrycans I reckon and were beating them at their own game.

I thought I had Shades of Blue but I haven't. The cover art on my server is from the Dusk Fire/Shades of Blue double cd set, that's what threw me.

Have you heard any of the other Landsdowne they recorded in that period?
